Usually we take the garbage to the dumpster every 4 days so i was stunned to see this i just recently started my spring cleaning and to my horror i have found my place is invested with maggots. Maggots are like little worms that can make themselves known anywhere in your home but they are particularly difficult to deal with in the carpet. It is often associated with keeping a dirty house though this is not always the case. Carpet beetles look very very different from bed bugs when they are larger.

Maggots are repulsive little fly larvae that no one wants to live with. If you find them in your carpet it likely means there is spilled food or a pet accident on the rug that you didn t find. Like i said i keep my place clean and i hate bugs of any sort. Home pests can cause a lot of damage to furniture clothes and other fabrics while creating health hazards for people and pets living in the house.

Leaving these unsightly critters alone will only result in infestations but failing to identify them correctly could lead to improper and ineffective treatment. Two major home invaders are the carpet bug better known as the carpet beetle and the maggot which is actually a house fly larvae. Maggots in carpet is a terrible combination that many homeowners dread. I found this maggot infestation under my appliances in the kitchen.
